Camila’s Bio
Born and raised in the colorful city of Caracas to a Director of Photography and to a Production Designer, Camila Toro literally grew up on sets. She was a toddler crawling on the sets of feature films and commercials. That inspired Camila to create her own short films during High School, then she cut short her Architectural studies at the UCV due to political turmoil and moved to NYC in 2007.
Ms. Toro graduated in Culinary Arts at the Career Academy of New York and went on to work in some of the most prestigious restaurants in Manhattan: Vong, and Spice Market, for Jean-Georges Vongerichten. She then helped design the menu and to open Lighthouse, later worked at Dokebi and El Almacén in the trendy neighborhoods of Williamsburg and Greenpoint, in Brooklyn.
While working in the hospitality industry Camila went on to take Filmmaking at the SVA in Manhattan, and later film editing courses at The Edit Center, she made a Short Film and continued to a successful career in content creation.
She applies her experience, taste and creative energy to generate content for her clients, and sells her personal work in Design Galleries in the region. She specializes in Drone, Lifestyle, Real Estate, Nature, Travel, Commercial, and Surf Photography & Videos. Her clients include: Audi, Boz Wetsuits, Geely, Hyundai, Kia and Proyecto Sofía Mulanovich.
Camila lives with her family on the coast of Peru, overlooking sunsets on the Pacific.
